Corey Helford Gallery presented “Natural History Museum Part I,” a solo exhibition of new works by Los Angeles-based artist Carlos Ramos.

For his first solo show in Los Angeles, Ramos recreated the immersive experience of a natural history museum, transforming the gallery into a lush, imagined archive of flora and fauna. The exhibition featured twenty-four large-scale paintings inspired by grand dioramas, alongside a sculptural installation of skeletal structures. Together, they invited viewers into a vivid collision of the natural and artistic worlds at once educational, mythic, and cinematic in scale.

The exhibition opened on June 28, 2008.
