Chicago’s Rotofugi Gallery presented Bowie, an exhibition of new works by Los Angeles artist Carlos Ramos.

Following past shows centered on the Natural History Museum, India, and Stanley Kubrick, Ramos turned his attention to one of pop culture’s most shapeshifting icons, David Bowie. The series playfully explores the many personas Bowie embodied over his career, from Ziggy Stardust and The Man Who Fell to Earth to Labyrinth’s Goblin King and Twin Peaks’ mysterious Phillip Jeffries.

The exhibition opened on October 15, 2010.
